It’s been four years since Natalie’s story first captured the hearts of the Chive Charities community.
At the time, she received a grant that provided orthotics and adaptive shoes—critical tools that gave her the stability and confidence she needed to navigate the world on her own terms.
Today, we’re thrilled to share that Natalie has outgrown those orthotics—not just physically, but in spirit. “While she has since outgrown the orthotics (as kids tend to do quickly!), their impact has been long-lasting,” her mom Brittaney recently wrote to us. “They gave her the stability and confidence she needed at a critical time, and today, she’s thriving.”
And thriving she is. Natalie no longer needs orthotics and is fully immersed in an incredible range of activities. Over the past year alone, she’s joined her middle school cheer squad, performed in Annie Jr. with the drama club, played a jazz duet with her best friend, and showcased her talents in the school band. This fall, she’s adding choir to her already impressive schedule.
“She’s determined, joyful, and never lets challenges hold her back,” Brittaney shared.
To our Chive Charities community: thank you. Your support didn’t just fund orthotics—it helped launch Natalie into a life full of movement, creativity, and possibility. “We are so grateful to the Chive Charities community,” Brittaney said. “Your support helped set Natalie on this path — one full of movement, growth, and possibility.”
To our donors, this is the lasting impact of your generosity. Your support reached far beyond a single moment—it laid a foundation for confidence, independence, and joy. Because of you, Natalie is not only walking without assistance but leaping into every opportunity that comes her way. From all of us at Chive Charities, and from Natalie’s family: thank you for helping make stories like hers possible.
