It’s hard to believe it’s been almost five years since we first introduced this community to Isaiah M. Back then, his family had just received a wheelchair-accessible van that promised to make everyday life — and adventure — possible. Five years later, that promise has more than held true.

“The van is still making a huge difference in our lives,” Isaiah’s mom, Vicky, shared. This summer, they made the most of that freedom—taking not just one, but two big road trips. 

“We took TWO big road trips (Disney World first and then North Myrtle Beach, SC with Isaiah's Pop—and friends!), and none of it would’ve been possible without this van.”

Beyond the joy of traveling, the van continues to make everyday life easier.

“It also gets us to countless therapy sessions, doctor appointments, and everyday adventures,” Vicky shared.

After a challenging 2024, that included four surgeries in one year, Isaiah is finally enjoying some well-deserved fun. 

“It’s been extra amazing to be past all of that and able to adventure with him after everything he went through last year.”

Now a middle schooler, Isaiah is thriving. Vicky said he is even attending his first school dance soon!

Through it all, his family remains deeply thankful for the impact that this community has had on their family.
