As we near the anniversary of Julian’s story, his mom Michelle shared a sweet update on how things are going.

“We’ve been doing well overall,” she said. “Julian is hanging in there and continues to amaze us every day with his strength and resilience.”

One of the biggest changes for their family this year has been the accessible van — and Michelle doesn’t mince words about what it’s meant to them. “The van has truly been life changing for our family,” she shared. “It has given us so much more freedom, flexibility, and peace of mind when it comes to getting Julian where he needs to go safely and comfortably. We honestly don’t know how we managed before it.”

Because of your support, everyday moments -like getting to appointments safely and with less stress- feel different now. They are easier. They are possible.

Michelle also wanted to make sure this community knows how much it means to them. “The support from Chive Charities has had such a meaningful impact on our day to day lives, and we are incredibly grateful!” She added that being part of the community “really does feel like family,” and they’re “so thankful to be part of the Chive Charities community.”

Julian had a dentist appointment this week, and he was able to get there efficiently and easily all thanks to their incredible van. Such a simple but powerful reminder of the difference your generosity continues to make in the lives of our incredible recipients every day!
