Thanks to the Chive Fund grant Francisco is able to attend weekly speech therapy sessions and his mother is hopeful he will learn how to speak more soon! He can say ba-ba-ba, mama and papa. When he cries and laughs it's a different sound now. Great work, Francisco! We're behind you all the way!

Not only is Francisco learning new things daily with the help of his cochlear implant Chive Charities helped him obtain, but he was able to get his second cochlear implant this year! His mom told us he is really exploring his voice and he is testing out different sounds. He continues to learn sign language but his family is determined he will learn how to speak.
