Earlier this year, we shared Shahrazad’s story — a young military wife and mother facing the challenges of military life while managing a rare medical condition. With your support, she received a hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) chamber to help alleviate her symptoms.
Recently, Shahrazad shared an encouraging update, saying she’s “doing much better” than when she first arrived in Colorado. The HBOT chamber, she says, has made a noticeable difference — helping ease her fatigue and brain fog. Her oxygen levels are now steady at 97%, and she was even able to take a ten-minute walk without passing out — a milestone she’s especially proud of given the higher elevation where she lives.
“I still have a long way to go,” she wrote, “but I’m so grateful.”
Her resilience and gratitude continue to inspire us, reminding us of the strength and perseverance within our military community.
We’re grateful to everyone who made this possible and for continuing to stand behind stories like Shahrazad’s. Together, we’re helping create brighter paths forward for military families like hers.
