HUTTO, Texas (KXAN) — A new facility in Hutto is making sure every child deserves a safe place to play team sports.
On Saturday, the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation (CRSF), Chive Charities and the Central Texas (CTX) Ability Sports, officially opened the KCCO Ability Field. The new facility, located at the site of the new Bridge Community Church on County Road 138, will provide children with physical and intellectual disabilities a safe place to play team sports and participate in educational and character development programs.
“This is a wonderful day for the kids of Williamson County,” said Kevin Bingham, COO of the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation. “We are honored that CTX Ability Sports and Chive Charities have allowed us to help them make it possible for children with special needs to have a fun and safe place to play and call their own.”....
