The HERO FUND is a small group of committed private donors and partners who make it possible for Chive Charities to make the world 10% Happier.
This group of instrumental donors cover our operating expenses — they fund the technology that allows our website to run, staff salaries, basic office systems and everything in between. By committing multi-year support for operations funding, HERO FUND Members fuel our long-term mission. The HERO FUND allows us to plan for the future. Members of our HERO FUND provide more than just financial support — they are also some of our most passionate ambassadors and visionary leaders.
By 2030, Chive Charities will adopt the 100% model. This means that every public donation made to Chive Charities will go directly to recipients in need. All operational costs will be covered by the HERO FUND.
In 2021, 84% of public donations went directly to supporting our grant recipients. Together since 2012, we've raised more than $21.7 million for the underdogs, funding over 660 grants, impacting the lives of 1,460 people in all 50 states across the country. Tens of millions have been inspired by our stories of courage and perseverance.
We need visionary investors who believe in and support our mission. Our HERO FUND Members’ ROI is measured in the amount of people whose lives are transformed by our grants, all thanks to their generous support of our work.
